KrankersoftPrivacy
Draft, 7 November 2026. GIFQuick is in testing; this page will be finalised before it goes on sale.
What stays on your Mac
Your own GIFs, their previews, the words you type and the index that makes them searchable are kept on your Mac. Face matching, if you turn it on, runs on your Mac and its data never leaves it.
What is sent, and to whom
When you search online, what you type is sent to GIPHY, KLIPY or Tumblr to fetch results, under their own privacy policies. Optional AI features, off by default, send only what that feature needs (for example one message you are replying to, with names removed) to an AI provider that keeps no data.
Downloads and updates
Optional models (picture search, face matching) and app updates are downloaded from krankersoft.com. Like any web server, it sees your IP address when you download.
